Getting involved

Here is a list of suggested ways that someone can get involved in serving at LCF. This list is only a starting point and in no way exhaustive.

• Prayer- for the sick, other members, the leaders, the lost
• Testimony
• Teaching- small group, kids, youth, women, men, special topics, etc.
• Provide food
• Plan activities- retreats, parties, special events, kids events, etc.
• Discipleship of others
• Visit others at home, in the hospital, in jail
• Help manage finances
• Serve at the manna ministry
• Participate in a Sunday service
• Counsel those who need advice or guidance
• Give of your finances
• Serve on the worship team
• Help with the younger children
• Serve on the education team
• Open your home for gatherings
• Use special talents- musical, poetry, dance, art, etc.
• Give others a ride
• Serve on the church council
• General labor- set-up chairs, wash dishes, sweep floor, etc.
• Invite others for a meal
• Give to someone’s financial need
• Be friendly to people
• Introduce yourself to a stranger
• Give someone a place to stay
• Help someone find a job
• Visit someone at college
• Babysit someone’s kids
• Cook someone a meal
